Testing an Apple //e I/O Card 655-0101

Good evening,

I have the card in question, with its internal cable for my //e (converted to Enhanced today)

I have built the external DB-19 cable and have tried with a DuoDisk drive as well as a SmartProSD device. In both cases they power up, but nothing happens afterwards.

Could anyone help me determine what is faulty in my setup? It can be any or all of:

Apple IIGS Keyboard question

I have an Apple Keyboard II with my IIGS and somewhere along the line the spacebar might have lost it's spring , if it ever had one. I suspect these have two springs, but all I can see is one small one and perhaps a space for another. Am I missing a spring?

RTC 2019 Still Available?

Is the RTC 2019 board still possible to get hold off from any seller? Looking to get hold of RTC to my A2e while the no slot solution is what I've found it's my understanding you need to run with patched version of ProDOS. Also, what slot is would these card be using (which might be I the end to avoid such card if it conflicts with other existing cards)?

Can ESP32 Softcard Composite Output Be Adapted To Use The Apple RGB Monitor?

I want to put an ESP32 Softcard in my IIGS, but I don't want to have to switch monitors, or have a secondary monitor for the ESP32 Softcard. Can the composite output from the ESP32 Softcard be adapter to display on the Apple RGB Monitor? If so, then I can think about designing some sort of Apple RGB input switcher.

[Apple IIgs Rom 01] No sound from the speaker or the headphone jack

Hello, my Apple IIgs is running perfectly except for the fact that there is no sound from the speaker or headphone jack. When I plug in my headphones I hear the initial static "pop" but nothing else.

The only multimeter testing Ive done so far has revealed that the speaker seems to have a short. There is continuity between the two leads at the speaker but not at the pin header. This would be fine if I could plug in external speakers.

Any ideas as to where to test from there or links to good service manuals?

[Apple IIgs Rom 01] Installing GS.OS v6.0.4 with only MicroDrive Turbo CF Card?

Hello,

I recently acquired an Apple IIgs Rom 01 with a 2mb RAM expansion card and have installed Reactive Micro's MicroDrive Turbo with a preloaded CF card, as well as their PSU kit. I'm attempting to install GS.OS v6.0.4 but I'm having difficulty as I do not have a working floppy drive. I have a 32mb partition on which I have all of the 6.0.4 files and I can run the Installer, but when I've chosen the volume I want to update the Easy Update program it wants me to insert the Install Disk.
